Wine Cork Bracelet

Well, it's not exactly Tiffany's...

but I'm thinking this little bracelet is a lot more fun!

In all the turmoil this week of moving my craft room, I found my stash of wine corks.

Now here's how you do the next step. You go into the kitchen and grab a big knife and then your husband comes in and tells you that you're going to cut your finger off and takes over. I love when things work out like that! Oh, and then you go grab more corks because he's cutting them crooked.

I used the smallest little screw things (technical term) and screwed them in both sides of the cork piece.

And then started linking them together with the rings.

When you get it to the size of bracelet you need, add a clasp.

That's it, so simple!
Stay tuned, necklace is coming next.

I'm joining these awesome parties this week.

It's a Party! #34

Okay, who besides me is having a really hard time getting back to some kind of normal after Christmas? Triniti is out of school, so I've had both girls all day, all week. And because I'm such a smart person, I decided to pack away all the Christmas stuff AND we're moving my craft room upstairs (more on that later) all the while 2 little girls are running rampant everywhere!!

So what bettter time to take a break and party!

Link up anything you want to share with us this week. It can be your fabulous craft, yummy recipe, giveaway, shop, etc.

I'll feature the Top 5 most viewed links on Saturday and randomly pick one of you lovelies to feature next Wednesday.

I would love for you to follow A Creative Princess while you're here!
It's just the nice thing to do!

Last Minute Gift Idea

I needed to make something for the girls at the Lodge that always save the empty liquor bottles and wine corks for me. I re-gifted and

gave the bottles back!

I used metallic silver spray paint on the bottles and the letters cut out of vinyl. The bells are door hangers from the dollar store. I got the Christmas sprigs from Hobby Lobby.

This bottle was already blue and worked perfect for snow.

For the snow, I used Snow-Tex. I didn't want it cover the whole blue bottle, so I kind of swiped it on. I really like it on the blue. I'm thinking this one would even be good as a hostess gift for a New Year's Eve party.

I'll be linking Here this week.

Wine Gift Set

This was a guest post I did for Angie at The Country Chic Cottage awhile back and in case you missed it, I thought it would be great for any last minute gifts you need to make.

I'm horrible with tissue paper, so ignore that mess.

I started with this Sonic drink carrier.

I Mod Podged fabric to the outside and painted the inside black.

Took 4 wine glasses and used the Cricut to cut out the letters using transfer paper.

I left the etching cream on for 5-10 minutes and then rinsed it off.

Now on to the wine bag...

I used the same fabric as I did for the carrier and cut it 14" x 18". Folded it long ways and sewed up the side and bottom.

This gets a little confusing, take the bottom of the bag and fold it to match the seams. Measure down 2" and sew a line across. Be sure to do both sides.

Trim off the triangles that you sewed and you'll have a nice flat bottom. (I want to say something about Kim Kardashian right now, but I won't.)

For the top of the bag, fold over 1/4" and press and then repeat. Stitch the folded part down.

Fill your bag with wine and you're good to go!

I'll show you another quick idea tomorrow, but you're going to need an empty liquor bottle. So if you have to empty one tonight while you're wrapping presents, go for it!
