Mickey Mouse Washer Necklace

So Terri, you didn't win the mega-bucks lottery last week, what are you going do to now?

Why yes, yes we are! (I watch too much Phineus and Ferb with the kiddo's!) This is your fair warning that we're going to DisneyWorld in May and you're probably going to see a lot of Disney themed crafts here.

I always like using the leather cord for the "chain" so you can adjust it for any size.

I probably shouldn't confess this, but I was watching the Disney channel while I was making these!
Is that wrong?

Update: These are now available in my Etsy Shop. You can find both of these, along with other colors, Here.

first of all, you are the first blog I have ever, ever, ever, ever, ever posted too...but the Phineas and Ferb...that is golden! you rock and so does this idea! since our trip to Disney, we have one daughter who will not let go of Minnie and the P&F crew frequent her play areas. you can't help but be curious when a mom says that she watches the Disney Channel...as I do in my house. have fun at Disney!

These are too cute! I'm like a Disney nut. My boyfriend and I go at the very least 3 times a year. We only live only 4 hours away and I have an uncle that works for Disney so we get in for free. I love these things and I totally don't think it's wrong that you were watching the Disney Channel. I've been secretly watching Beauty and the Beast when I'm at home alone lol. I'm working on some matching Disney shirts for our trip in October and I'm pretty excited about it. I hope you guys have fun on your Disney trip! Now following

These are SOOOOO cute! I found some washers but having a hard time matching up the punch sizes to the washers. Would love to know what size washers you used! Thanks!

Alaine Bolton said...

Can you please give the washer sizes? I went to Home Depot and couldn't find washers that matched the punch sizes you showed in the picture. Apparently, washers come in a million sizes other than small and large! Thanks!

Love these! Making for my daughters bday party! I used 3/8" and 1/4" for mine but I will be painting them!

bestgrandma0900 said...

What gauge of wire did you use? Where did you buy it?

Janna said...

These are adorable!!! Would you mind telling me what size washers you used? I bought 5/16 for the ears and used 1/2" and 3/4" punches, but they didn't work right. Paper was way too thin and left too much washer showing. THANKS!!!
