An update on my daughter and a whole lot of randomness

Be prepared, this is a long post, but if you stick with me, I'll show you the cutest picture ever at the end! Please read through everything, I want you hear this.

So many kind and caring people have ask me about how Krissi is after her wreck a couple of weeks ago. She's not good, but coping. After many specialists and tests, they discovered last week that she has a spinal cord injury. She's in such pain, can hardly walk, and has no feeling on her right side. She sees the neurologist on May 1st. That's my one complaint with doctors, they tell you that you need to go as soon as possible and then you have to wait a couple of weeks for the appointment!

During all her MRI's and Ultra Sounds she's had to have, they discovered cysts and a thick wall lining in her uterus. She had the biopsy done last Friday and we should have the results in a week. One small thing that makes me feel a little better is that the doctor on Friday told Krissi that her wall lining is 4 times larger than a "normal" abnormal thick wall lining. This leads her (the doctor) to believe that instead of cancer it could be the shock and trauma to her body that the wreck caused. She said hormones do crazy things to a body when put through this. We won't breathe easier until we get the results, but that news did help a little.

I owe all of you an apology. If I'm quiet and not answering e-mails for days, I hope you understand why. My mind is totally overwhelmed right now and as much as I want to, I just can't bring myself to sit down on this computer sometimes. I'm still crafting and posting because to be honest, that helps keep me sane at the end of the day. I craft late at night, post when I wake up in the morning and then don't look at the computer again. I do see all your wonderful comments during the day on my I-phone and love them! Usually I'm doing something and can't respond right then from my phone. I'm truly sorry!

Okay, on to other business. I never heard from the winner of the Cherry Necklace so here's our new winner:

Angel from Simply. Lovely. Things!

Angel, shoot me an e-mail with your address so you can get your cute necklace!

Here's where I'm asking begging for help! I'm looking for anyone who would like to do a guest post in May. I would love for it to be a craft, recipe, trash to treasure, ... well, you get the idea. Please e-mail me (tcwrenz@yahoo.com) and let me know if you're interested. I would love to have you and could really use the help right now! Thank you!!

If you're still here, THANK YOU for sticking with me through this long winded post! Now as promised, here is the cutest picture you've ever seen!

That's Tyson (the new grandpuppy) and Bella, Brandon and Christina's puppies on the way to the dog park. Christina took the picture from the front seat through the side mirror. Look at Tyson's little (?) paws hanging out! Awww......

Have a great week!

Oh goodness dear Princess, I'm so soryy you've been very worried about your DD...but don't worry, everything will be just fine for her. Prayers are going her way. The dog is adorable! Our son in law will be having an spinal operation in Florida next month and I am so worried, although doctors say that it'll be ok and he'll be fine from the operation, than he'll have a long recuperation, wow. All we have to do as mom's is give love and just pray. Have a blessed week.

Terri, I am praying for you and for your daughter. It must be so hard to watch her go through such a tough time - and to think how things can change in an instant when someone else is careless. If you would like me to do a post in May, let me know. I haven't baked anything recently and haven't done any crafts, but I have made soap. :-) So I could probably do a post on soapmaking - but only if you're interested. Just email me.
