Fireworks Necklace

The 4th of July is always a big deal around our house. Besides just being the 4th of July with all the fireworks and grilling, it's also Greg's Birthday. I'm working on shirts for the kids and took a break to start making necklaces for them.

I noticed this paper had fireworks on it and it fit the glass tile perfectly.

I cut the paper to fit the tile.

I would normally use Mod-Podge, but I had a bottle of this Diamond Glaze and wanted to try it out.

You really can't tell there, but you brush the glaze on the front of the paper and stick it to the back of the tile. Make sure you really stick it so there are no air bubbles.

Then add another coat of glaze to the back of the paper, making sure you get the edges good. Once dried, add a bail.

That's all there is to it! Go for it!
