The other day, completely out of nowhere, Greg ask me if I had made a calendar yet for the kids to count down the days until DisneyWorld. I don't know when he became the Martha Stewart of the house... but, okay.
He didn't have to ask me twice. I know when to stop cleaning (Ha-Ha) and go craft!
I grabbed this out of my "Things I bought at a garage sale to do something with, but never have" box.
I painted it white and mod-podged it with paper.
I downloaded Waltograph font from dafont.com and guess what?! I used my Silhouette to cut them out! Remember that I got it for Christmas? It's literally been sitting here on my desk next to the computer and I've been too afraid to try it. Well, I finally put on my big girl panties and used it!
The numbers are the same font and I put them on paint chips.
"Martha" can sleep easier now, the kids have a Countdown to Disney!
In case you all are wondering and even if you're not, I'm going to tell you anyway. I'm NOT having a good day! First Blogger changed on me over the weekend and I'm just now getting used to it and then today when I went to Photobucket to edit photo's, it's completely different!! Is there a full moon? What the heck is going on? Don't these people know I don't do well with change?
The way I see it, there's only one thing to do now. Grab your drink of choice and let's party!

These were so darn simple that I thought about not even posting about them. Jace's first baseball tournament was last weekend and I needed to get us mom's and grandma's ready for the exciting season!
Let's start with earrings!
I had a package of those baseball stickers. I put mod-podge on the back (the sticky side), mainly because my earring post was smaller and I didn't want little strands of hair to get stuck on the part hanging over. This gave a nice smooth finish.
Glue the post on the back with E-6000 glue.
That's all there is to it! Simple, right?
Today is the last day to enter the Giveaway so be sure to enter if you haven't already.
Be prepared, this is a long post, but if you stick with me, I'll show you the cutest picture ever at the end! Please read through everything, I want you hear this.
So many kind and caring people have ask me about how Krissi is after her wreck a couple of weeks ago. She's not good, but coping. After many specialists and tests, they discovered last week that she has a spinal cord injury. She's in such pain, can hardly walk, and has no feeling on her right side. She sees the neurologist on May 1st. That's my one complaint with doctors, they tell you that you need to go as soon as possible and then you have to wait a couple of weeks for the appointment!
During all her MRI's and Ultra Sounds she's had to have, they discovered cysts and a thick wall lining in her uterus. She had the biopsy done last Friday and we should have the results in a week. One small thing that makes me feel a little better is that the doctor on Friday told Krissi that her wall lining is 4 times larger than a "normal" abnormal thick wall lining. This leads her (the doctor) to believe that instead of cancer it could be the shock and trauma to her body that the wreck caused. She said hormones do crazy things to a body when put through this. We won't breathe easier until we get the results, but that news did help a little.
I owe all of you an apology. If I'm quiet and not answering e-mails for days, I hope you understand why. My mind is totally overwhelmed right now and as much as I want to, I just can't bring myself to sit down on this computer sometimes. I'm still crafting and posting because to be honest, that helps keep me sane at the end of the day. I craft late at night, post when I wake up in the morning and then don't look at the computer again. I do see all your wonderful comments during the day on my I-phone and love them! Usually I'm doing something and can't respond right then from my phone. I'm truly sorry!

Please e-mail me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let me know if you're interested. I would love to have you and could really use the help right now! Thank you!!
If you're still here, THANK YOU for sticking with me through this long winded post! Now as promised, here is the cutest picture you've ever seen!
That's Tyson (the new grandpuppy) and Bella, Brandon and Christina's puppies on the way to the dog park. Christina took the picture from the front seat through the side mirror. Look at Tyson's little (?) paws hanging out! Awww......
I found these paper plate holders at Goodwill, 4 of them for 50 cents!
I used one of them and spray painted it white.
I went to Tagxedo and found a soccer ball there and plugged in Jordyn's name. If you haven't played around over there, yet, it sure is fun! I was hoping they would have a volleyball also so I could make one for Jalynn, but soccer was all they had.
I cut and glued it to a round piece of cardboard to fit the middle of the plate.
Hot glued it in the center and added black cording to finish the inside edge. I kind of thought I was finished, but Jordyn suggested I add flowers around the edge.
I would love it if you see something I’ve done and want to make one for yourself or give as a gift, but not to sell. Please link back and give credit where credit is due. I would like to see what you’ve done to make it your own (improved the idea). Thanks for visiting!
