Christmas is over and I can finally start showing you the projects I did that I couldn't show you before because of little peekers in my family. First up, a stocking stuffer for Jace.
Jacer loves his Lego's and now has a little travel set to take along with him.
I went to a garage sale last Fall and the lady ask me if I wanted a whole bag of Altoid Tins for free. Are you kidding me? Of course I do! Now that I think about it, I must even look like a hoarder crafter.
I found this small set of Lego's with just enough pieces to all fit in the tin.
JoAnn's carries that Lego scrapbook paper. How cute! I measured around the tin and cut the pieces.
Since I didn't need the box anymore, I started cutting it up, too.
All that's left to do is Mod-Podge everything on the tin.
And fill it with your Lego's.
I would personally like to thank the guy who invented the Altoid tin. I wonder if he has any idea what he did for the crafters of the world.
Happy Friday!

This is an awesome idea! I may have to try this for my nephew, so he can have a small travel case for his lego guys or something! Of course, I'll have to come up with a tin first :)
I love this, it's so cute. where do you store the directions though?
That's a great idea! Every time I throw one away (gasp!) I think I should save it for something.
I will tell you, though, that our grandson loved Legos when he was younger. He had lots and lots of them. He also kept all the boxes and never lost a piece. He just sold his Lego collection on eBay for a little over $2,000, because they were complete and the boxes were like new. He is 16 now, and opened an investment account with his Lego money. Smart kid - not sure where he got his smarts! LOL
Haha. You are amazing, Terri! what a super cute idea! I pinned it.
Plan your next great vacation with Arik Air Travel and Tours.
Great idea. This would be great for my grandson that flies often. Love how you did the tin.
My boys would have loved these.
Hi Terri! I would have scooped them up to. I pinned a great idea for Altoid tins.

That is just brilliant Terri! The perfect way to give small lego kits instead of the cardboard box and plastic bags they come packaged in!
