Christmas Ice Cream Bar

Thanksgiving is over for another year, which means Christmas is right around the corner. What better way to start the Christmas season with a peek into Mrs. Claus' kitchen.

Actually, it's not really Santa's house, it's Penny's Vintage Home! I would love to bake Christmas cookies with her in that kitchen!

Have a magical Monday!

It's a Party! #238

Welcome to the party.

I want to wish all of you a blessed Thanksgiving!

Link up anything you want to share with us this week. It can be your fabulous craft, yummy recipe, giveaway, shop, etc.

I'll feature 3 of my favorites from the party next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for a little more exposure. I started a board on Pinterest where I pin all of the fabulous features. You can follow along Here.

I would love for you to follow A Creative Princess while you're here!

If you would like to grab an It's a Party button (on the sidebar) and post it on your blog somewhere, that would be great! Let's get the word out and grow this party.

Sweet Potato Souffle

I've got one more last minute Thanksgiving recipe feature for you before the big day. It's the Sweet Potato Souffle from Vintage Zest. This will be on our table tomorrow for sure. I actually fixed it last year and it was a huge hit! The best part about this recipe (besides it being absolutely delicious) is that you can make it the day before and then heat it up and add the marshmallows the day of.

See you back here later this afternoon for this week's It's a Party.

Mini Lattice Apple Pies

This week's features are all about last minute Thanksgiving recipes and these Mini Lattice Apple Pies from My Thoughts, Ideas & ramblings are just too cute not to feature. They sound so simple to make and I'm sure would be a hit at any Thanksgiving feast!

Aren't they just the cutest little bites of joy?!

Easy Sweet Potato Pie

Can you believe Thanksgiving is only 3 days away? Where did the year go and where was I?

This week our features are all about last minute recipe ideas for Thanksgiving.

Okay, I'll admit it. I love pie. I don't like crust. Don't try and talk me into it (like my mom always did), won't work. When I saw the Sweet Potato Pie that Diane from Vintage Zest linked up that was without a crust, I knew this was the pie for me. I can't wait to make it! You'll never know, Diane, how much I thank you for this.

Have a beautiful Monday!

The Most Popular Party Appetizer

Don't these little beauties make you want to pluck one right out of the photo and eat it?

You'll want to jump right over to Crazy Organized to see what is in the middle of all that deliciousness!

See you back here later this afternoon for this week's It's a Party.

DIY Fall Burlap Wreath

Decor by the Seashore came up with a brilliant idea when she made her Fall Burlap Wreath. She made it interchangeable! You simply use the same burlap wreath and change the decorations on it for every season or holiday. I love that idea!

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Cheesy Garlic Green Bean Casserole

My family loves Green Bean Casserole and for Thanksgiving this year I've been searching Pinterest for a little twist on the plain ol' original version. I was thrilled when I saw the Cheesy Garlic Green Bean Casserole that Sincerely, Mindy linked up at last week's It's a Party. It sounds like the perfect tasty change that I was looking for.

Have a marvelous Monday!

Fresh Apple Tea Lights

Rosemary and Thyme came up with an idea that makes you hit your head and say, "Why didn't I think of that?!". Her apple tea lights are so simple, but what an awesome centerpiece for fall or your Thanksgiving table!

See you back here later today for this week's It's a Party.

This breakfast casserole from Simply Stacie is screaming fall, but I think it would be the perfect Christmas morning breakfast. I can't wait to try it. I won't have to wait much longer because I bought apple pie filling and raisin bread at the store yesterday!

Have a terrific Tuesday!

KC Royals are the World Champions!

We interrupt this craft blog post for a very important announcement.
(You all know how much I love my Royals baseball.)

They won the World Series!!!!

They did it Sunday night in game 5 at New York and what a game!!

This was downtown KC at Union Station where the parade ended for the rally. Brandon & Christina were there, do you see them?

I'm confident that my boys in blue will never see my little ol' craft blog, but I just want to thank them for this awesome ride we've been on all season!!

Back to normal now. It's a Party will start later this afternoon.

Let's go Royals!

Simmering Spice Recipes

I love simmering spices. They make your home feel so warm!  I even have a tiny little crockpot that I keep on the kitchen counter just for that. I usually buy them at the store, but now I can't wait to use these recipes from Ramblings of a (Bad) Domestic Goddess.
